Join Us in Utah October 10-13!
Color Outside Retreats give you the space to escape your routine, play in the wild, push your body to new heights, and rediscover what makes you come alive with our intimate multi-day wellness & adventure events.
There’s something magical about getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where time slows down and things seem more simple. Where even the smallest exploration can feel like a huge adventure.
Let's reignite your passion amongst the gorgeous red rocks of Moab, UT. Moab is an adventure filled destination home to not one but two beautiful National Parks.
During this 4 day, 3 night experience, we'll visit breathtaking sites, go on amazing hikes, learn to kayak and explore everything Moab has to offer. A beautiful vacation house will be our home for the retreat, equipped with our own personal chef and photographer.
You'll arrive to SLC International Airport by noon and get picked up for our ride down south to Moab. We'll get to know each other, listen to some music and settle in for the ride. Once in Moab, you'll check into your room, decompress and then meet everyone for our Kick-off Mixer with dinner & drinks.
After a filling breakfast, we'll be on our way to explore Arches National Park. We'll spend the day hiking and taking in all of its beauty, including a hike to the famous Delicate Arch. We'll return back to our home base for dinner and the opportunity to relax & connect with the group — or on your own if you need some alone time.
We'll fuel up with breakfast at home and then head out to explore Canyonlands National Park by a guided boat ride. We'll take a break for lunch and then head into Canyonlands to explore the Islands In The Sky section of the National Park. We'll return back home for dinner and unwinding.
We'll wake up and reflect on our experience over the retreat. Then say our goodbyes to Moab and prepare for our journey back to SLC International Airport.
In short, because you deserve it. You don’t have to keep sitting on the sidelines, watching everyone else live amazing lives. All too often we put our own well-being, passions & desires to the side, telling ourselves that we'll get to them later when we have more time, energy, money... you know the drill. But when you look back on the last 12 months of your life, what would you rather see? A joy-filled, adventurous life or day after day of "that would be nice, but..."
You'll leave this retreat feeling more connected with the woman you were meant to be. You'll feel a renewed sense of power, boldness, and courage. You'll leave with that priceless knowledge that you can accomplish all the things you set out to do — you too can do hard things. And you'll leave feeling relaxed, recharged and ready to begin living a full life that is consistently connected to your bliss.
Damn. I have goosebumps just thinking about it.
Plus, 4 days is just enough time to refresh, reboot and forget about your to-do list without the guilt around stepping away for yourself starting to creep in. Trust me, with a family of my own, I know that constant pull between wanting to get away but also missing your family terribly while you're gone.
Delicious, healthy meals provided by a personal chef. (And did we mention wine?!)
Luxury accommodations in some of the most beautiful outdoor spaces across the country.
A full roster of adventures designed to help you connect with the elements and reconnect with your passion & power.
Candid shots of our adventures, taken by our amazing photographer, capturing your fierceness out in the wild.
Not to mention...
I think that the word adventurous and outdoorsy vary for everyone. For some, adventurous might mean jumping out of an airplane, for others it might mean getting out on the hiking trail. For our purposes, adventurous means wanting to push yourself a little harder than you have before and being open to new experiences.
All activity levels are welcome, as long as you’re willing to approach all of our activities with an open mind and a willingness to try. Being "in shape" means something different to everyone. You know your body best. This is NOT a competitive retreat. Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. We’ll all get there eventually.
Girrrrrrl. I saw that too. Don’t worry, no sunken places here. Just good ‘ol fashioned fun in an amazing location. Part of Color Outside’s mission is to help normalize women of color’s presence in the outdoor space. We’re here to take up space so that it’s not so weird to see us out and about on the trails.
Nope. Not unless you want to (do you, girl). Each attendee will have their own bed. You may have to share a room though.
When you register for the retreat, you'll receive a full packing list of everything you should bring. We'll provide any gear that we'll need as a group and the home comes equipped with cooking items, linens and towels. You'll bring along comfortable clothes and shoes, your toiletries and anything else you need to make you feel at home while you're here.
Yes, yes. A thousand times, yes.
Because the retreat is small and preparations are made in advance, cancellations cannot be refunded or partially refunded.
