Be Still

Let’s take a moment to be still and be quiet. Listen to your breathing, your heart beating, and the sounds around you. How often do you allow yourself to be still and present in your body?

I’m sure you’ve heard the term, “stop and smell the roses” but it’s still relevant in this day and age. We’re constantly consuming content via technology and working ourselves to the point of burnout, that we’re forgetting to sit still and be present.

Being a part of the Color Outside community, we encourage everyone to prioritize themselves to the best of their abilities. So the next time you start to feel overwhelmed and not yourself, stop and smell the roses. Take at least 5 minutes to ground yourself and embrace what you’re feeling.
