Guess What You’re Making?

hustle, grind, women, women history month, impact,

The end of Women’s History Month is fast approaching.

And while I’ve been highlighting some women who are making history over on the Color Outside Instagram page, I want to make sure to highlight one woman that’s making history, in particular.

You.

I know you’re probably thinking that there’s no way you’re making history. You’re grinding, hustling, searching for answers and just trying to keep your head above water. While that is true, even within all that you’re juggling your still putting yourself out there every day, giving your best and even your all.

And the women in your lives that you consider to be “history makers” — they most likely feel the exact same. When it’s all said and done, no matter what image we portray, we’re all like those ducks— seemingly gliding across the water, while our little legs are working triple time where no one can see or appreciate them.

Whether it’s as a wife, mother, friend, in your career — or maybe all of those things — you ARE making an impact.

Isn’t that what making history is? Making an impact on someone’s lives and showing up in our own life?

You were put right here on Earth to do something that no one else could ever do. That thought alone gives me goosebumps.

It’s so very easy to get caught up in the routine of life. But, it’s just as easy to add a bit of spontaneity, spice and adventure in, as well. You just have to treat it with the exact same importance that you do the items on your to-do list.

Where do YOU fall on your own to-do list? As we head into the weekend and close out Women’s History Month, commit to putting yourself at the top. Taking care of you gives you the fuel to take care of others.
