Am I the only one asking myself how is it almost the end of January? It feels like I just took down my Christmas tree, and all the goals that I set and feelings of starting 2019 off lit up and on fire…
I’m tired just thinking about it.
I haven’t gotten my mojo back.
And, the more I talk to my friends about it, the more that I find that many women are feeling the exact same way.
We’re supposed to be doing ALL👏🏾THE👏🏾THINGS👏🏾, yet the fatigue, burn-out, and overall sluggishness is clearly not going down without a fight.
I’m a firm believer in easing into things.
For example, on any given Monday you’re inundated by people who tell you the day is for go-getters, you should be motivated and ready to start the week and kill it.
Eh.
I purposefully don’t schedule much on Mondays. I prefer to ease into my week. That doesn’t make me lazy, it makes me in tune with myself. You can be just as motivated on Tuesdays, and slay your dragons and eat those frogs on Tuesday – Friday.
And it’s the same with January.
Just because you haven’t hit the ground running like you thought you would on January 1st, doesn’t mean you can’t execute your action plan on January 25th, or February 9th, or March 17th.
The New Year begins when you say it does.
