Everyone Is Saying You Should Do This. They’re Lying

You’re being hit from all sides right now of what you *should* be doing, am I right?

New Year Resolutions.
Choosing a word for the year.
Reflecting on the past year.
Reflecting on the past decade.
Planning all of 2020.

It’s a LOT.
It’s also a LIE.

The only thing required of you right now is to show up as best as you possibly can, authentically and joyfully. And if it’s not authentic and not joy filled… opt out.

Of course, there are some things we can’t escape (hello work and children), that’s just a part of being an adult. But everything else? You have a choice.

And you may choose to plan, and resolve, and reflect.

But doing it for the ‘gram is not a requirement.
And there is no deadline on when you must do those things.

Give yourself permission to have PEACE this holiday season.

I give myself permission to ease into the next chapter of my life and to focus on enjoying the present.
